Andy Bell and Marsha McAdam: A vision for mental health, autism and learning disability services

Andy Bell and Marsha McAdam on how to transform mental health, autism and learning disability services over the next decade.

Fast forward to 2032, what should mental health, autism and learning disability services look like for service users and staff? In this episode, Matthew Taylor talks to Andy Bell, interim chief executive of the Centre for Mental Health, to unpack the answer. The question forms the focus of a joint report, published last year, titled No Wrong Door.

Drawing a roadmap to the future, the report explores what needs to change over the next decade to turn vision into reality. Matthew explores this further with Marsha McAdam, a mental health advocate and vice-chair of our Mental Health Network, who shares how she is using her own experience of the health and care system to bring about change.
